Climate change is likely to have significant direct and indirect impacts on landscape character, quality and local distinctiveness. We have prepared a report for Natural Resources Wales which identifies what adaptation measures may be needed and how these may affect landscape character and visual amenity themselves. The report also addresses mitigation measures and their likely effects. It is hoped that the document will inform management decisions by partners at Area Statement and local levels so the real challenges and changes to our landscapes can be understood and tackled.
